Bongani Mngaza is the Managing Director of Bit Avenue Software & Web Solutions and Co-founder of Sgela Saam. He was born in East London and raised in Zwide, Port Elizabeth where he ran a local tavern with his father and brother.
He grew up doing karate, and earned himself a black belt through his commitment to the martial art.
Bongani completed his National Diploma in IT-Software Development in 2013, at the NMMU, and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in 2015. Whilst completing his studies, Bongani held two other positions. He worked as an Information Systems, Computer Programming and Computer Hardware and Software substitute lecturer at PE College, all the while excelling as an IT Consultant and Web Developer for a start-up IT company.
Bongani’s passion for IT is evident in the work that he produces. He is dedicated to creating better software and web solutions that will benefit generations to come.
