Dr Ingrid Siebörger

Dr Ingrid Siebörger is the project co-ordinator for the Telkom Centre of Excellence in the Department of Computer Science at Rhodes University.  Her research interests include ICTs in Education, computer networking and ICTs for development.  Ingrid has recently completed her PhD in Computer Science at Rhodes University; which detailed an investigation into an efficient computing infrastructure for use in rural South African schools.  Ingrid is a research contributor to the Siyakhula Living Lab and is responsible for deploying and maintaining the IT infrastructure in the Living Lab.  She is also actively involved in the MobiSAM project which uses mobile phones to increase citizen engagement in local government around the area of service delivery.
